for children, youth and parents

This program offers a neutral environment for families experiencing conflict to come together to learn new skills, strengthen relationships and resolve problems.

We can work with your family to support you in looking at issues such as:

  • Communication
  • Family and parent expectations
  • Respect
  • School Success
  • Drug and/or alcohol use

We can also support you in having challenging conversation by:

  • Working on positive problem solving
  • Exploring different communication styles
  • Discussing healthy boundaries

Community Service Opportunities

The Youth and Family Support Program works closely with probation adn the youth justice committee to offer youth involved with the justice system an opportunity to give back by means of community service work hours.  In addition, youth also have access to individual support, addiction support and may participate in various groups which focus on anger expression, self esteem building and life skills.
