Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada are independent organizations operated by trained, professional staff and community volunteers and governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors.

The National Boys and Girls Club of Canada was created in 1947 to assist with the operation of Clubs.  The National Head Office is located in Toronto.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Alberta exists to play a proactive and significant role in assisting clubs in achieving maximum sustainability and growth.  The Regional Head Office is located in Edmonton.
