It’s that time of year again and our Summer Adventure Guide is back by popular demand! In our guide we offer Youth Volunteer & Leadership, Interact, Youth Employment Strategy, Overnight Adventures, Day Trips and Learn To….. programming. The Adventure Guide programs offer a variety of opportunities to overcome barriers, form peer friendships and positive adult relationships, try new things and develop confidence and skills for life.
Overnight away trips are one of most popular summer events. Children and youth get to get away to new and exciting places. We provide nutritious snacks and meals for all overnight away trips, tents and programs to get the participants active and involved while away from home. Some of the places we have stayed are: Elk Island National Park, Calgary Zoo (in with the animals), Kananaskis, Jasper, and Banff just to name a few..

We strive in making sure that the fees for both the week long camps and the overnight adventures are maintainable for all families.
Subsidy is offered through the government which can cover the week long camps fully or partially. However this does not cover any overnight adventures. For more information on Government Subsidy please go to www.child.alberta.ca.
The Boys and Girls Club does offer our own subsidies to make sure NO children are left out. If you require some support with fees we encourage you to contact the Executive Director.
